NISOA Referee Training Camp Application

REFEREE TRAINING CAMP

Elizabethtown College, PA

July 8-12, 2018

Arrival:  Sunday July 8, 2018 (11 am – 1 pm)

First Classroom Session:  1:30 pm

Departure:  Thursday, July 12, 2018 (6:00 am – 9:00 am)

Intensive Classroom Instruction, On-Field Officiating Demonstrations

On-Field officiating Performance with Observation and Feedback

Physical Performance Training and Testing

Open to both NISOA members and those who seek to join NISOA.  New candidates for membership should meet the NISOA requirements for membership which can be found here. New candidates for membership must be sponsored by a local NISOA chapter.  You can find your local NISOA chapter with contact information at this link. It is not mandatory that campers be members of NISOA prior to  attending camp.  The camp will help prepare them to officiate college games.

Class size is limited to 50 participants. Three (3) years of referee experience is recommended but not mandatory.

Minority and female applicants are eligible for a full $500 scholarship-grant. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is payable upon acceptance and will be returned to attendees at camp.

All other applicants may be eligible for a minimum of a $250 scholarship-grant. These individuals must submit an application form and a non-refundable check for $250 made payable to NISOA. This money may be refunded if a full scholarship is obtained at a later date.

Women, especially minorities, are still being considered for acceptance due to a grant from the NCAA.
