Leadership Team
Executive Board
The Board members are nominated every two years by our members to oversee the governance and administration of our organization. They meet monthly and are responsible for strategic planning, organization's operations and the appointment of all Directors and Staff. Here is your 2023-2024 Executive Board:

President
Supervises the Managing Director, Associate Executive Director, and Sr. Director of Operations. Presides over Executive Board meetings, advises on the management of the association, appoints officers and representatives.

Vice President
Serves in the absence of the President. Responsible for the Ethics and Grievance committee, sales, welfare and the National Convention.

James Mayes (CO)
Secretary
Serves as official record keeper. Records minutes of all official meetings and distributes them as required. Maintains complete and updated copy of the Constitution, By-Laws and Policy Manual.

Past President
Responsible for marketing, hospitality and fundraising. Assists in forming chapters. Maintains records and history.

Chairperson, Regional Representatives
Represents the Regional Representatives and their chapters. Acts as the conduit to the Regional Representative Team.

The following positions are appointed by the Board.
Corey Rockwell (AZ)
Sr. Director of Education
Leads the educational agenda for the organization. Develops national training materials, trains National and Local Clinicians, and coordinates regional and NSCAA clinics. Prepares the Preseason Guide and Rules Differences Guide.

Sr. Director of Evaluations
Manages the National Referee Program, oversees the assessment and evaluation programs, and leads the physical fitness programs.

Responsible for NISOA programs for interscholastic, assignment and technology.

Associate Director
Manages the membership roster, awards, and makes payments to vendors. Responsible for sales. Reports to the President.

Responsible for managing operational support and organizational policy issues. Reports to the President.

Provides strategic leadership and general overall management to NISOA. Reports to the President.

National Referee Program Coordinator
Oversees and manages all aspects of the National Referee Program. Reports to the Sr. Director of Evaluations.

Vice-Chair, Regional Representatives
Supports the Chairperson of the Regional Representatives and their duties. Is selected by the Regional Representatives to represent them in absence of their Chair.

RIDE Chair
Leads the Referees for Inclusion, Diversity and Equality (RIDE) Committee who is responsible for developing long-term planning that helps the organization meet its newest value ensuring we're an inclusive organization. Reports to Managing Director.

Social Media Coordinator
Assists with email, website, social and builds community amongst membership via channel communications. Reports to Marketing Coordinator.
