• Officiated numerous championship games for USSF; FIFA; NCAA Divisions I, II, and III; Major Indoor Soccer League; North American Soccer League; American Soccer  League; and the National Professional Soccer League at various times from 1968 – 2002

• He has been a member of NISOA since 1974.

• He has officiated over 100 NCAA/NAIA playoff matches in his career.

• In 1995, Julio refereed the Division 1 Men’s Semi-final San Diego St vs. Virginia. 

• Julio has also refereed over 20 years in the ASL, NASL, NPSL, AISA and MISL.
