Thank you for visiting the NISOA online. Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used at this site.
The Internet, Privacy, and NISOA
NISOA policy is to respect and protect the privacy of our guests. This policy statement advises users how information is collected and how it is used.
The Internet contains a wealth of information: at times it may contain personal details about the user that not everyone needs to know. For example, real name, street address, phone number, or e-mail address. When someone is online, sites visited gather information about the user without their knowledge. NISOA strives to assist our users and protect their privacy while using the NISOA web site and services.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded after thirty days.
Use of User Information
NISOA has several sponsors and business partners that can offer valuable products and services from the web site. The NISOA web site does not collect potentially sensitive information, such as an email address, from visitors without their expressed consent by filling out a form on the web site. The NISOA web site collects information about the visitor’s domain. We use the information to help refine and improve the content on the site. The NISOA web site uses cookies to protect potentially sensitive information for logged in users only. NISOA will not disclose the e-mail address of any user to these partners and sponsors. The user is the only one who can provide an e-mail address to receive information, special offers, or promotions from a partner or sponsor.
We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The NISOA web site contains links to other sites whose information and practices may be different. NISOA makes every effort to link only to sites that meet similar standards for maintaining the users right to privacy. However, NISOA cannot control any of the links and is not responsible for any content appearing on sites linked to or from NISOA’s web site. Users should review the other sites’ privacy policies since NISOA has no control over information that is collected by its partners, sponsors, or links. Children 12 and under should get parental permission before linking to other sites.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with a user is taken very seriously by NISOA. NIOSA is diligent in providing secure transmission of information from a user’s PC to the server. No data sent over the internet can be guaranteed to be totally secured. NISOA cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted to the NISOA web site. This is done at the user’s risk. Any transmission received by NISOA will be dealt with in a manner to ensure the security on the system.
Acceptance of These Terms
When using the NISOA web site, the user recognizes that the NISOA privacy policy is effect. If the user does not agree to the terms of the policy the site should not be accessed. NISOA reserves the right to amend or modify this policy at any time. When changes are made, a user accepts them by accessing the site. Any substantive changes will be posted for users to review.
