Harlan Matthews named National Referee Program Coordinator

We are thrilled to announce that Harlan Matthews has been appointed as the National Referee Program Coordinator!

Harlan Matthews has been a NISOA member since 1999 when he joined SLISOA in Louisiana as a referee. He then moved to TGCISOA in 2007 when he took on a new job in his professional life. Harlan became a National Assessor in 2007 and has served TGCISOA as an Assessor ever since. Harlan has held several chapter officer roles in both chapters he’s been a part of and most recently served NISOA as the Regional Area Coordinator for Region IX. He retired from active NISOA Refereeing in 2019.

In addition to his roles with NISOA, Harlan is also a National Referee Coach for US Soccer, the USASA Region 3 Referee Administrator and a PRO Assessor. He lives and works in Katy Texas with his wife Mary.

We are excited to have Harlan in this new role with NISOA and are looking forward to the future of the National Referee Program under his leadership!
