Thank You Ryan Cigich!

We’d like to thank Ryan Cigich for his long tenured service as the NCAA Soccer Coordinator of Officials! Ryan first took over this role in 2012, succeeding NISOA Hall of Famer Dr. Donald Wilbur. 

During his time on the field Ryan officiated nearly 2,000 youth, amateur and professional matches, including more than 700 at the collegiate level since taking up officiating in 1986. He also has extensive experience as a referee instructor, evaluator and administrator for the Major Indoor Soccer League, US Soccer, US Youth Soccer and NISOA!]]

During Ryan’s tenure with the NCAA, he helped to support several NISOA initiatives including joint webinar series, education during the pandemic, in person events, and the NCAA co-sponsorship of the annual Women’s College Cup Officiating Seminar.

Ryan is moving on to be the Coordinator of Officials at the Big 12 and we are thrilled for him in this new role! We cannot wait to continue our long standing relationship of collaboration with him at the Big 12!
