NISOA Leadership Excited for 2021 Plans!
The NISOA Leadership Team spent last weekend reviewing 2020 and crafting a plan to move forward into 2021 and beyond! NISOA’s Strategic Plan was shared during the AGM in August and outlined NISOA’s goals for the upcoming years.
The weekend started off with an official presentation of the NISOA HOF jacket for Alex Prus! Alex was named to the NISOA HOF Class of 2020 and was able to receive his jacket in person with his family. A truly special moment for a member of our NISOA Family and although 2020 was a strange year, our leadership team was thrilled to be able to present Alex this honor in person.
From budget review to SWOT analysis to partnerships, our leadership team reviewed the current state of affairs and discussed key action items to continue moving the organization forward. Key programming such as the national referee program, educational initiatives, and succession planning were also discussed.
New Senior Director of Education, Corey Rockwell, took time to discuss his goals for NISOA’s program and how he plans to take a holistic look at how NISOA referees can be better every game.
Kris Fabick from the R.I.D.E committee also joined the meeting to present some impactful data on NISOA’s current membership composition. This information is vital for NISOA to create an action plan to help our organization become more reflective of the student athletes we work with on the pitch.
With the strategic planning weekend in the rear-view, your Leadership Team continues to work year-round in executing various initiatives and providing our membership with the most value added benefits and opportunities for professional growth. We are looking forward to celebrating our 58th year with all of our NISOA family members.
